Both fighter are coming off from impressive victories. Dan has certainly impressed people with his last couple of victories. He trains with Khabib Nurmagomedov whenever he is the US. Although, we haven’t seen much of his wrestling in his last couple of victories and that’s because his striking was so good that he never utilized his wrestling. However, we may see his wrestling against a stronger opponent like Kattar. Also, it will be very effective for Dan if he can take the fight to the ground and finish Kattar rather than choosing to get into a boxing battle.

Kattar showed great class when he finished Stephens with a stunning right elbow. He has great boxing, tremendous knockout power in his arms and doesn’t shy away from frequently engaging.

He showed that he could compete with the top guys when he fought Zabit Magomedsharipov in a main event last year. Some experts saw it as a close fight even though the judges gave a unanimous decision in the favor of Zabit.

What can we expect from this fight?

Both fighters are coming in high with confidence from their previous victories. Dan has a wrestling background so we can expect some takedowns in the later rounds. When it comes to striking, Kattar  is the stronger guy with fierce knockout power in his arms.

One thing is for sure that both fighters don’t hold back and we can expect a lot of fireworks from this fight. This is a great fight for neutrals so sit tight and enjoy the show. Let us know your predictions in the comments.
